He came to me last night
and offered His hand
He promised to take care of me
to show me a life that was ever so grand

I was leary at first
for what could He have for me?
I was still alive and breathing
Wasn't I?

Unknown to me at that given time
I was called back to the Lord
My time here on earth was done
And He needed me more.

I took the hand that was extended
Thankful for the kindness bestowed upon me
The light and the love that was wrapped around my soul
Forever grateful to the Lord for leading me to the Heavens above.
